Refugee Voices in Film

IEFTA has a continual endeavour to find new ways to support film makers from developing countries, and one such initiative is “Refugee Voices in Film”.

Now in it’s second year this project joins forces with other humanitarian agencies to find ways in filmmaking to relieve and help the plight of refugees around the world.

The 2nd annual Refugee Voices in Film screenings at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival explored UNHCR’s innovative approaches to refugee messaging, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean and mixed migration movements.
