3rd Global Film Expression Conference, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Call for Entries
The International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) invites Ethiopian Filmmakers to apply for the chance to meet with international Film Producers and Film Festival Directors. Submission deadline: 17 November 2019
12 Filmmakers will be selected to meet one-on-one with the professionals to discuss and receive advice on developing their current projects. Projects can be at any stage of development, from initial idea to post-production, and the projects can be short or feature length and either narrative or documentary.
To compliment the 1:1 mentorship meetings, IEFTA, with local collaborating partner, Action Media & Communication, will host workshops and masterclasses open to applicants and filmmakers who register in advance.
The meetings will take place in Addis Ababa between 7 – 8 December 2019.
How to apply
To apply please submit the following information via email to info@iefta.org by 17 November 2019:
- One-page project description featuring
- a log-line, a short synopsis,
- a long synopsis and
- the stage of project development
- One-page biography and CV
All applications must be submitted in English. Previous conference participants are welcome to submit again for this year’s conference.
Applications received after 17 November will not be taken into consideration.
Finalists will be contacted by 1 December 2019 by IEFTA to provide more information about the professionals and the meeting schedule for the finalists.
