The IEFTA create connections between emerging filmmakers and established organisations through international multicultural collaborations in a transparent and consistent way.

ACTIVE COLLABORATIONS

Durban International Film Festival

IEFTA will be partnering up with the Durban International Film Festival this coming summer from 18-24 July 2019 with the aim to sponsor an emerging film professional for their Talent’s Durban initiative in the Animation Lab. The animator will have the opportunity to host meetings and masterclasses during the festival.

Golden Apricot International Film Festival

IEFTA will be attending the Golden Apricot International Film Festival (GAIFF) from 7-14 July 2019 to participate in the festival and sponsor the winner of their Talents Lab program to one of our partner film festivals.

Dhaka Doc Lab

Teaming up again with the Dhaka Doc Lab in Bangladesh from 26-31 August 2019 with support and presence at the specialist documentary event.

Marché du Film

A long standing collaboration with Marche du Film organising sponsored trips to visit the Cannes film festival for filmmakers in developing nations providing opportunity to gain insight, learn and network with key industry figures.

El Gouna Film Festival

Partnering with IFFR and CineGouna’s Springboard, the IEFTA finds participants for Rotterdam’s CineMart, a co-production market with workshops for 60 emerging producers from all over the world.

IEFTA team up with Berlinale Africa Hub at the Berlin International Film Festival to present information and spread awareness of emerging talent around the world, especially in Ethiopia.

Watersprint Student Film Festival
