12 Aug Durban FilmMart 2022 Winners Announced
The curtain has come down on the 13th edition of the Durban FilmMart, Africa’s premier film industry event which this year embraced the digital shift by hosting virtual sessions alongside an in-person 3-day industry event was attended by film professionals the at Durban’s Tsogo Sun Elangeni Hotel.
The Mart once again shone the spotlight brightly on the best that African film has to offer while panning into Industry Talks around critical issues and trends facing African filmmakers. The virtual DFM programme included 40 projects in development that participated in the Pitch and Finance Forum; 100 completed and works in progress projects were presented at the Content Shop, and 40 engagement sessions were held through Industry Panel Discussions.
Winners were announced on Sunday, 31 July at the DMF Awards Ceremony, and IEFTA is proud to share included the following Alumni.
