Witness the diverse use of film in addressing one of the most poignant global humanitarian crises of our time. IEFTA hosted the 3rd Edition of the Refugee Voices in Film series in partnership with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and Marché du Film. The program explored the power of refugee testimonials with a focus on the Rohingya crisis, Yemen, the Horn of Africa, and Syria. 11 UNHCR team members, including the UNHCR Representative of France, Ralf H.W. Gruenert and UNHCR Head of Video Unit, Michelle Hoffman, attended the festival to represent the program and initiative while answering audience questions related to the series. Other filmmakers that attended the event to represent their films included in the Refugee Voices in Film series included Charlotte Carroll (Red Crayon), Patrick Bodenham (Amina, My Sister) and Marco Bollinger (Safe Zone). Every seat in the Doc Corner screening room was filled by filmmakers and industry professionals interested in watching the films, meeting the UNHCR team and finding out more about the UNHCR’s #withRefugees program.  The Sunday screening of the program was followed by a private reception at Plage 45 to honour the UNHCR.
