IEFTA hosted it’s 2nd Global Emerging Talent Conference in Addis Ababa this week

The International Emerging Talent Film Association (IEFTA) invited Ethiopian Filmmakers to apply for the chance to meet with Film Producers and Film Festival Directors from around the world.

Eleven Filmmakers were selected to meet one-on-one with industry professionals to discuss and receive advice on developing their current projects. In attendance were Dorothee Wenner – Filmmaker and Programmer at Berlinale, Keith Shiri – International Film Curator and Programme Advisor to the BFI London Film Festival, Bernadette Schramm – IEFTA Global Film Expression Director and Watersprite Film Festival Producer and Gary Springer – Entertainment Publicist and Consultant.

Our industry professionals met for one-to-one meetings with talented filmmakers and hosted masterclasses open to both students and established filmmakers.
