Announcing Special Bursary Awards for 2 Filmmakers to Attend CPH:DOX

Update 04 May 2023: In this first, IEFTA partnered with the Copenhagen International Documentary festival (CPH:DOX), granting travel bursaries to Filmmakers Aditi Sharma (India) and Valida Baba (Azerbaijan) that allowed them to attend a new program at Copenhagen.  

IEFTA’s Head of Development Lianne Llewellyn attended to support the filmmakers and participate in the CPH:DOX Forum.

Also at the Festival, Eat Bitter, an IEFTA supported documentary held its world premiere.  Congratulations to Ningyi Sun, Pascale Appora-Gnekindy & Mathieu Faure, the filmmakers responsible for this engrossing and urgent look at differential development in the Central African Republic. 

IEFTA is excited to announce it will be offering 2 emerging filmmakers from emerging regions special bursary packages* to attend the brand new INTRO:DOX Program at this years Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival (CPH:DOX), in Denmark.

* Packages consist of Flights, Accommodation and Accreditation.

How do I Apply?

If you are working on your first or second non-fiction feature documentary and would like to attend INTRO:DOX and wish to be considered for the IEFTA bursary, visit the CPH:DOX accreditation form where you must remember to specify this in the “Request note” field of the form before submission.

When is the Deadline?

The deadline for applications is 1st February 2023.

What is INTRO:DOX?

INTRO:DOX is a brand-new initiative welcoming emerging filmmakers from all over the world, working on their first or second non-fiction feature and takes place at CPH:DOX from March 15 – 26, 2023. For full details about INTRO:DOX click here.
