25 Apr Honouring UNHCR
The IEFTA held a private cocktail reception to honour The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) at Plage 45 following the Refugee Voices in Film screening on Sunday May 13, 2018. Over 300 people joined together to celebrate the UNHCR team and talented filmmakers who stand #WithRefugees.
11 representatives from various UNHCR offices attended the events in Cannes to support the 3rd edition of Refugee Voices in Film at the Doc Corner of the Maché du Film and spread awareness of the UNHCR #withRefugees campaign. Among the UNHCR team was UNHCR France Representative Ralf Gruenert.
Continue supporting us and our partners by signing the UNHCR #withRefugees petition to stand with refugees and urge decision makers to:
• Ensure every refugee child gets an education.
• Ensure every refugee family has somewhere safe to live.
• Ensure every refugee can work or learn new skills to support their families.
The campaign will continue through 2018 until a global compact for refugees is reached. CLICK HERE to stand #withRefugees today.
