For the third year in a row, IEFTA attended the Dhaka Doc Lab to identify emerging documentary filmmakers deserving of sponsorship at our partner festivals.

After 2 days of hearing pitches, IEFTA, in collaboration with the International Film Initiative of Bangladesh (IFIB), awarded sponsorship to Kazi Krishnakali Islam (Bangladesh) and Arun Bhattarai (Bhutan). Both filmmakers will attend the Marché du Film’s Industry Workshops Program at the Cannes Film Festival in 2020, as our guests.
