IEFTA was honoured to present a further two more awards at this year’s El Gouna Film Festival, designed to elevate selected filmmakers with promising projects by providing critical early production support, and is part of IEFTA’s broader mission to nurture emerging talent and amplify diverse voices in global cinema.

In partnership with the Torino Film Lab (TFL), IEFTA awarded an Online Invitation to attend to TFL NEXT to director, Issraa Elkogali Häggström and producer Lars Lovénis, for their project Elsewhere (Sweden).

In association with DAE, IEFTA presented A Free European Film Market Badge, €1,500 Travel Bursary, and a One-Year Free Membership to DAE, for the project Remind Me to Forget (Saudi Arabia) directed by Lama Jamjoom, and produced by Maryam Sindi and Rami Alzayer.
