The Dhaka to Cannes initiative - the first ever of its kind - is launched in Bangladesh Organised by the International Film Initiative of Bangladesh (IFIB) in partnership with International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) the Dhaka to Cannes initiative is kicked off with the selection of three emerging Bangladeshi filmmakers: Lubna Sharmin, Kazi Mahadi Muntasir and Md Abid Mallick, who are chosen to attend Cannes Film Festival 2017 as a part of the opportunity, mentorship and workshop programme.
